Today we decided to go to Montmartre, an area of Paris known for the Sacre Coeur Basilica, nightclubs, and artist communes. We walked up the big hill, took in the amazing view of Paris, and headed to Place du Tertre to have Bryn's portrait done. We settled on a gentleman whose style we liked. It reminded me of a sketch my parents had done of me in Montmartre when I was Bryn's age.
Again, Conrad was more thrilled with the street performers, pickpockets, and 3 card monte dealers than any of the scenery or architecture but he is a great travel companion and always has me laughing.
