Visitors

We finally have some visitors!  My mother, sister-in-law, and niece all arrived in Paris yesterday.  After wolfing down some baguettes and cheese in my apartment, we all headed out for a quickie bus tour of the city.  It was raining and cold so we had the bus to ourselves.  After the tour we went to Galeries Lafayette for their Friday fashion show.  It was really fun to see the french models work it and the Christmas decorations had just been put up so the whole store and sidewalk out front was swarming.  We then headed back for power naps and met up at our favorite local place Le P'Tit Canon for dinner.  We were the only Americans in the place (which always makes me happy) and treated very well by all of the waiters.  I'm not sure where everyone who complains about the rude French are going but I'm not getting any of that.  We are headed to Versailles on bikes today and the forecast is rainy.  Yikes!
