Dimanche en famille

   The Sunday after our sopping Versailles bike tour was spent leisurely shopping on Rue de Levis for supper ingredients and greeting my long lost husband who arrived from the States.  We all chipped in and made a choice meal of salad, roast filet mignon of pork, potatoes roasted in graisse de canard (duck fat), cauliflower puree, followed by a cheese course (Epoisse, Comte, Shropshire Blue, and an aged goat), and finally une tarte aux pommes and a chocolate and hazelnut brick.  That was pretty amazing.

Sorry no pics of this one but had to write down what me made for my memories.
